WILD weather may have grounded this week’s Balloon Association of Victoria’s (BAV) training camp at Lake Cullulleraine but that didn’t stop trainees from achieving their goals.
Instructors, pilots and trainees converged on the Millewa town for the annual camp to share their knowledge and undertake hot air balloon training.
Australian Ballooning Federation president Martin Tregale yesterday said training flights were put on hold after strong winds and a cold front hit the region on Wednesday.
