Heat coach wants to maintain momentum

AFTER a turning-point game last weekend, Mildura Heat Big V Basketball Division 2 Men’s coach Mahaela Jackson wants her team to continue its momentum.

Something appeared to click with the Heat last weekend despite their one-point loss to ladder leaders Southern Peninsula, after some  up-and-down form, the Mildura side played some thrilling basketball to nearly snatch an improbable win.

They have a rare Sunday standalone game in Melbourne tomorrow against RMIT, and coach Jackson hopes to take what the team did against the Sharks forward.
