WENTWORTH’S Dion Harris says he looks forward to the SFNL’s Indigenous Round every year.
The popular Roos veteran, who clocked up 200 club games and life membership of his club this season, is a proud Barkindji man and said the weekend’s round was good to acknowledge the contribution indigenous footballers had made to football in Sunraysia.
“It’s a big occasion, not only for me but for everyone else out there to get out and enjoy the day,” Harris said.
There wouldn’t be an SFNL supporter who doesn’t enjoy watching Merbein’s Jimmy Kennedy in action.
The fleet footed wingman is an excitement machine who can break the lines with his electrifying pace.
This weekend Kennedy will be a key player in his sides must win match against Red Cliffs at Quandong Park.
