IF anyone is inspired to jump back on the bike, this week is often one of the most common times to do so.
With the world’s most publicised cycling race, the Tour de France, kicking into action on Saturday, WhistleOut completed an analysis of cyclist fatality and injury trends to make residents aware of the most dangerous locations and times on our roads.
Victoria was found to be the least safe place to ride on roads where speed limits of 80km/h or above are in force, with an average of 44 cyclists dying each year on Australian roads.
