IT was a game of Big V Basketball that had everything – except a Mildura Heat win.

The hometown Division 2 Men’s Heat fell one point short, 86-87, of causing an upset against top-side Southern Peninsula Sharks after a dramatic last 60 seconds of the game on Saturday night.

With 56 seconds to go, Dave Meyer was sent to the foul line, hitting one of two to put Mildura up by three.
