It’s likely that the future of our CFA will be determined this week.
After ramming his divisive Bill to split the CFA through the Parliament’s Legislative Assembly in early June, with the support of Labor MPs and the Greens, Daniel Andrews now looks set to force it to a vote in the Upper House.
Communities in northern Victoria have made it clear we don’t want Labor’s plan to destroy our CFA to go ahead.
But Daniel Andrews has refused to listen.
Labor’s Upper House MPs for Northern Victoria, Mark Gepp and Jaclyn Symes, have one last chance to listen to their communities and vote against the Bill to split the CFA.
They have one last chance to break ranks and take a stand for the communities they were elected to represent.
If Mark Gepp and Jaclyn Symes truly care about the future of our communities in northern Victoria they will not let Daniel Andrews get away with tearing our CFA apart.
