WHILE most teens have their sights set firmly on obtaining a learner’s permit to hit the open road, Solomon Cameron has his eye on the skies.

The 15-year-old is flying solo around the country in his Jabiru J220 plane to raise money for Angel Flight, a charity that helps regional and rural Australians access specialist medical treatment.

Making a final pit stop in Mildura last night before he concludes his trip in Bendigo, Solomon said a passion for flying was instilled in him from a young age, having taken his first flight with his pilot father at the age of three.
