LIKE her boss, Jacqui Hawkins knows a thing or two about shaking up an electorate.
Ms Hawkins ran as an independent candidate for the seat of Benambra at the state election last year and came within 2000 votes of upsetting Liberal incumbent Bill Tilley.
In the process, she made the once safe seat marginal. It is a very similar story to what Member for Mildura Ali Cupper did, defeating The Nationals’ Peter Crisp.
