Robinvale doctors in for the long haul

IN the midst of a well-documented doctor shortage, Murray Valley Aboriginal Co-Op in Robinvale have secured the services of two full-time, Indigenous general practitioners.

Barkindji man Dr Sean White and Yamatji woman Dr Marium Rind say they know their work is cut out for them – but they’re determined to put in the hard yards to ensure the health needs of Robinvale’s Aboriginal community are met.

“Robinvale is a high-risk, high-need community,” Dr White said.
