FORMER Mildura Settlers cricketer Ben Rowles has capped off a breakout individual season with Camberwell in Victorian Premier Cricket by claiming the club’s senior club champion award.

Rowles, 26, was awarded his first John Birch Trophy at the club’s presentation evening at the end of last month.

The left-handed top order batsman scored 728 runs at an average of 45.50, including two centuries and a half century, across the First and Second XIs.
