Setting the pace: Mildura house prices leave regions behind

MILDURA house prices last year grew at a faster pace than any other Victorian regional centre, and most Melbourne suburbs, according to a report by the state’s Valuer-General.

It was found the median Mildura home price grew 17.4 per cent in 2018, to $320,000, outpacing Ballarat, Bendigo, Geelong, Horsham, Shepparton, Warrnambool and Wodonga.

Ballarat was the only other major centre showing double-digit growth.
