A REPLICA World War II Spitfire and Mustang aircraft will be among the main attractions at today’s annual Sunraysia Sport Aircraft Club open day.

Aircraft enthusiasts and curious spectators are invited to look at a display of light aircraft that will arrive from across Victoria and interstate and gather all the information they need to eventually get in the cockpit.

The display will also include a selection of veteran cars and motorcycles. Club president Peter Guest said some patrons may get the chance to take a joyride.

The Sunraysia Sports Aircraft Annual Fly-In Public Day will be held at the Wentworth Aerodrome, from 10am until 3pm, with refreshments and a barbecue lunch available.
