SUNRAYSIA coach Brad Hards feels the wheel is turning despite the SFNL remaining winless at interleague level since 2012.
Sloppy ball use underpinned the SFNL’s 14.13 (97) to 8.14 (62) loss to Heathcote District at Sarah Oval on Saturday, the league’s sixth-straight interleague loss (after missing the 2017 season) since thumping the Murray Football League by 100 points seven years ago.
But long-time representative football servant Hards was optimistic about the region’s future in the WorkSafe AFL Victoria Community Championships.
