DEPUTY leader Bridget McKenzie says The Nationals’ election spending in Mallee is lower than when Andrew Broad won the seat in 2016.
Speaking in Mildura this week where she joined Nationals candidate Anne Webster at a funding pledge announcement at Mildura Clay Target Club, Ms McKenzie could not confirm how much the party had spent on the Mallee campaign.
“It wouldn’t be as much as the last time we transitioned this seat,” she said.
