WENTWORTH Shire Council didn’t have to look too far when it came to appointing a new general manager.
It was announced this week the council’s director of health and planning, Ken Ross would take over the top job following the retirement of former general manager Peter Kozlowski.
Originally from the small NSW town of Hay, Mr Ross began his long career in local government at Hay Shire, followed by stints at Narrabri, Townsville and Balranald councils.
