Federal election 2019: Farrer on a knife's edge

ELECTION analysts and bookmakers are unclear on which way Farrer will fall when the votes are counted tonight.

The seat has never been held by anybody except those representing the two Coalition parties, but whether that changes is completely in the hands of constituents from Albury to Wentworth.

Tasmania-based election analyst Dr Kevin Bonham said unlike Mallee, where multiple challengers are lining up, in Farrer there was a clear two-horse race.
