The Nationals pledge Mildura Clay Target Club funds

A $1.2 million election pledge will help the Mildura Clay Target club take aim at national and international sporting events.

The funding announcement, which will be delivered if a Coalition government is returned, will help with the installation of a shot curtain to aid shooters at the Eleventh Street range.

Sport minister Bridget McKenzie was in Mildura yesterday and said the government wanted to boost sport in regional areas. 

“We want to see this venue have the capacity to host state and international championships, so that more tourists and sporting participants come to Sunraysia,” she said.
