MILDURA Council is going ahead with its plan for a controversial shared pedestrian-bike path alongside Eleventh Street, despite the launch of a petition calling for it to be moved.
Sunraysia Daily yesterday reported the path would run on the southern side of Eleventh Street towards Nichols Point to connect the growth area to Mildura.
Titto’s Store owner Calum McKinnon said the path – proposed to run in front of his Eleventh Street store – could cause injury or death and should be moved to the northern side of the street.
