STAFF at Mildura Base Hospital (MBH) took the time to recognise the hospital’s nurses and midwives at a barbecue lunch last week.

In honour of International Nurses’ Day, which is celebrated on May 12 each year, on the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birthday, MBH staff and management recognised and reflected on the contributions of their own nurses and midwives.

MBH director of nursing Janet Hicks said International Nurses’ Day was a special day each year across the hospital.
