Anzac Day in Sunraysia: Together through Anzac spirit in Wentworth

FOR the first time, the New Zealand national anthem rang out at Wentworth’s Anzac Day service yesterday.

Wentworth District RSL Sub-Branch vice-president Don Baird, who served in Vietnam, led the service, which was this year particularly close to his heart.

He had the honour of introducing his great-niece Holly Smith, who is deeply connected to the day, and the first person to ever sing the anthem of our NZ neighbours at the service.
