IT was an emotional morning in Red Cliffs, as hundreds gathered in Barclay Square to remember those who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations.

The commemorative service began with ex-servicemen, Scouts, Girl Guides, navy cadets, ladies of auxiliary, CFA volunteers and members of the community marching from Jaimeson Avenue and Ilex Street to Barclay Square.

For 10-year-old Ryan Morgan, marching in the Anzac Day service in Red Cliffs with his father Rohan has become an important family tradition.
