Alarming homeless youth statistics in Sunraysia

MORE than 800 young people in Sunraysia are accessing homelessness services.

The alarming statistic was revealed on Wednesday as homelessness service MASP marked the nationwide Youth Homelessness Matters Day. 

In Mildura, 817 people aged from 10 to 29 accessed homelessness services between July 2017 and June 2018, according to an analysis by Council to Homeless Persons (CHP).
