NSW Minister for Agriculture Adam Marshall says 99.5 per cent of NSW is still in drought.

WELCOME recent rainfall has not changed prolonged and widespread drought conditions in NSW, the latest seasonal update has revealed.

March brought rain, particularly in the east of the state, eastern Riverina, central and Southern Tablelands and central west.

The NSW Department of Primary Industries (DPI) last week released the state seasonal update for March, which shows while some isolated areas had moved into drought recovery, much of the western region missed out altogether.
