SUNRAYSIA youth are now able to join in the nationwide initiative Midnight Basketball as it makes its way to Chaffey Secondary ­College stadium for the first time.

The program, supported by Northern Mallee Community Partnership, Homebase Youth Initiative, Victoria Police, Mallee Sports Assembly, Mallee District Aboriginal Services, Department for Justice and Community Safety and Sunraysia Community Health Service, aims to build skills and confidence in local youth. 

The Midnight Basketball Mildura Volunteer Management Committee has set up its inaugural six-week tournament and everyone aged between 12 and 18 is encouraged to join in.
