EACH week hundreds of cases are heard before the Mildura Magistrates’ Court.
Police prosecutors plough through case after case of various offences from theft and domestic violence to aggravated burglaries, assault and people applying to get their licence back after time off the road.
On Wednesday, which is typically a mention day, a quick count shows 105 names of accused, all to be dealt with by the court’s prosecutors.
