Mother smashes window with scooter, court told

A MILDURA mother used a scooter to smash the window of a home after picking her son up from a sleepover.

In June last year, Shannon Weisner went to a Mildura home about 10.50pm to pick up her son, who was there with five other children.

Mildura Magistrates’ Court was this week told Weisner entered through the back door and collected the child, who was asleep on the couch.

However, outside an argument erupted between the woman and the house’s occupant, who had never met before.

While leaving the property, Weisner grabbed a scooter and used its handle to smash a front window.

Defence counsel asked that

Weisner’s  difficult history be taken into consideration. Weisner pleaded guilty to the charge and was placed on a six-month good behaviour order, with a condition she continue to engage with a psychologist.
