Wasted and rotten: Bad batch of mulch contaminated with carcinogens

LACK of education, supervision and management are factors said to be causing the production of contaminated mulch in Sunraysia. 

For Red Cliffs landscaper Tom Fagan, the reality of mismanagement and poor recycling habits comes at the expense of his reputation and future job prospects.

“I made the mistake of using local mulch that was provided to me by the council and it almost cost me my name and my reputation,” he said.
