MILDURA Council has resumed its normal recycling processes again after the EPA approved the reopening of a Victorian recycling plant last week.
On Tuesday, EPA officers said SKM Services Pty Ltd could start accepting recyclables at its Laverton North site after the Laverton and Coolaroo sites were ordered to stop accepting waste last month over concerns of fire hazards due to dangerous stockpiling.
The shutdown left many councils across the state, including Mildura, unable to deliver recycling to SKM.
