THE old firm of Calvin Henry and Dave Meyer led Mildura Heat to an impressive season opening win over Big V Division 2 rivals Sherbrooke at the Hothouse on Saturday night.

Henry and Meyer were at their devastating best as the Heat ran away with a comfortable 15-point win, 88-73.

Two weeks ago it looked an unlikely scenario that Meyer and Henry would ever play for the Heat again after the pair had walked away from the club, disillusioned with the direction it was heading.
