A YOUNG Lake Primary School student has proved generosity is not a matter of age.

After growing his hair for almost three years, Grade 6 student Hunter Stonehouse cut his locks for the World’s Greatest Shave on Thursday, raising almost $2000 for the Leukemia Foundation in just a month.

The school community gathered to watch his hair being cut by a local barber, with all the locks donated to make a wig.
