MEMORIES of Cheree Ann Lawson, who was killed as a result of family violence in 2013, flooded back during a memorial march at Dareton on yesterday.

Hearts remained heavy as a crowd of about 70, led by Ms Lawson’s mother, siblings and three children, walked from Sturt Park to a memorial established on Namatjira Avenue, where Ms Lawson was killed in 2013.

The 24-year-old was killed by her former partner Dale Ryan Johnson, who is serving a 21-year jail term.
