MILDURA Regional Development (MRD) chief executive officer Daryl Buckingham will officially step down from his role at the end of the month after nearly two years holding the reins of the organisation.
Mr Buckingham yesterday announced he would leave the region to take up a position in Queensland, after he was given an offer “too good to refuse” and the search for a replacement is already under way.
Mr Buckingham moved to Mildura in May 2017 to take up the role as Mildura Development Corporation and Mildura Tourism merged to become Mildura Regional Development.
