TEAGAN Parker says Melbourne Cricket Club’s maiden Women’s Premier Firsts cricket title hasn’t quite sunk in yet.
The former Workers Gol Gol cricketer, who captained the MCC to the historic three-wicket win over Prahran at the Junction Oval in Melbourne on Sunday, said it had been a long time coming since the club entered the competition in 2012-13.
“We’ve dreamed about this day for the past seven years,” Parker said. “The first couple were pretty tough with a new club with a bunch of teenagers.
