DECORATED war hero Dudley Marrows was yesterday remembered for his courage and leadership during World War II as well as his tireless service to the Sunraysia community.
Mr Marrows died on Monday night, aged 101.
Mr Marrows, a Sunderland pilot, was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for his role in sinking a German U-boat in battle on July 30, 1943.
