LETTER: Dig those weeds from the river banks

I AM worried about the spreading of asparagus and gazanias in the River Reserve along the Murray River.

If every camper took their shovel and spent only 15-30 minutes digging out asparagus, bridal creeper and thistles and took home shoots with red berries, we would not have such a problem.

Who will want to camp in an asparagus field instead of native vegetation 10 years from now?
