A FIRE that destroyed a large shed and all maintenance equipment at the Coomealla Golf Club two weeks ago has been ruled non-suspicious.

Wentworth Rural Fire Service Superintendent Steve Walker said the investigation was ongoing and a cause was difficult to determine given the amount of machinery housed in the structure.

The fire broke out about 8.30pm on February 25 and caused an estimated $80,000 damage, destroying the shed and equipment including mowers, tractors and a computerised irrigation system, along with a staff room and workshop.
