Mallee District Aboriginal Services leads aged care fight

MALLEE District Aboriginal Services (MDAS) is at the forefront of Australia’s first comprehensive guide to improve aged care outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander elders.

Federal Health and Aged Care Minister Ken Wyatt recently launched the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Aged Care Action Plan, which is the first guide to help families and aged care recipients, as well as providers, to meet the needs of First Australians in residential and home care.
