WENTWORTH Shire Council will consider a development application for a Coomealla crushing plant and winery at the site where grape-crushing and juice storage equipment was installed without the council’s permission last year.
During today’s meeting, councillors will consider the proposal, which seeks approval to change the use of a farm shed on Jindalee Road into a crushing plant and winery and to construct a new office.
In a report that went before the May 2018 council meeting, it was noted a large farm building had been built at the site under the approval of a complying development certificate issued by a private certifier.
