WENTWORTH District Football Club coach Sam Curran says his players’ pre-season attitudes now and 12 months ago are poles apart.

The second-year Roos coach, who will take the reins alone this year after sharing the role with Joel Cullen in 2018, was left lamenting a poor attitude to pre-season from his charges last season after his side started the year with seven losses.

Wentworth recovered to finish the season with four wins and seventh spot on the ladder, although the first half of the year meant the damage had been done, but this year is different and that hasn’t been lost on the former Irymple and Gol Gol star.
