MEMBER for Mallee Andrew Broad says the advice of Border Force officials should be taken “very, very seriously” as Prime Minister Scott Morrison warns of a revival in the people smuggler trade.
Legislation making it easier for refugees already on Manus Island and Nauru to get medical transfers to Australia was passed by the Senate on Wednesday.
It followed the government’s historic loss of a vote in the House of Representatives a day earlier.
