Gift of happiness comes from kind strangers

VOLUNTEERS are helping make life a bit more comfortable for patients and visitors to Mildura Base Hospital (MBH).

From manning the welcome desk to wheeling the newspaper trolley from room to room, their selfless approach in doing the little things are making a big difference to the hospital.

“Our volunteers do an incredible job, some in very visible roles and others a little more behind the scenes – but they all give support that provides little extras to our patients and families,” manager of health information services Chris Compt said.
