MEMBER for Mallee Andrew Broad used his return to Federal Parliament yesterday to urge action from his own party’s leader on a pipeline project.
In the first Canberra sitting day since Mr Broad became embroiled in a dating scandal, the outgoing MP praised the Labor Victorian Government while asking Nationals leader and Deputy Prime Minister Michael McCormack to “get on with” the project.
The comments were in reference to a proposed new domestic and stock pipeline for the Mitiamo district, which will become part of the Mallee electorate’s eastern edge this year.
