Greens aim for big gains with Mildura branch

THE new Mildura branch of the Victorian Greens wants to appeal to moderate voters and not just be seen as an activist political party. 

That’s the view of Aaron Riley, who has been elected secretary of a new local branch launched by Victorian Greens state secretary Sean Mulcahy.

Former Greens state election candidate for Mildura Cathryn Milne has been elected as the branch’s convener, along with Dr Brian Murphy as treasurer and Ron Perry as Country Greens representative for Mildura.
