IMAGINE the pressure of playing in a national open golf event like the Women’s Australian Open that starts this week in Adelaide.

You’ve got the crowd watching every shot, there’s a US $1.3 million prize purse on the line, it’s the biggest tournament of your career.

Former Coomealla man Rowan Daymond doesn’t quite have that, but the superintendent of the The Grange Golf Club has been front and centre in preparation for the tournament.

His club is hosting the prestigious event, with qualifying today for the event from Thursday to Sunday.
