WITH three rounds remaining in the Sunraysia Cricket Association (SCA) home-and-away season the equation is simple for Nichols Point – keep winning and play finals cricket.

It sounds pretty straight forward, but when two of your last three rounds are against sides above you on the ladder the task becomes a lot more daunting.

The Pointers were treading water after round eight, defeated by bottom side Mildura West and seemingly out of contention.
