A FLASH flood incident in Murrayville has renewed fears about the town’s drainage, as Mildura Council looks to implement a solution later this year.
Heavy rain and lightning hit parts of the Mallee about noon on Wednesday, with Murrayville on the receiving end of a harsh downpour just after 11.40am.
Murrayville Hotel publican Darryl Lewis said there were reports of rain gauges around town receiving between 25mm and 30mm.
