Vet shortage strikes town

A VET shortage has forced Benetook Veterinary Clinic to reduce its service at Robinvale to once a week and scale back its call-out service in the region.

Benetook had run the Robinvale Veterinary Clinic twice a week for many years but will now only be open on Tuesdays as it suffers from a vet shortage being felt throughout Australia.

Benetook owner Bill Sutherland has been advertising for 18 months to try and fill vacancies at his surgery for full-time roles.
