MAKING small changes, over a long period of time, can make a difference.
So says Mildura anaesthetist Dr Ben O’Donohoe, who has built an affinity with the people of Africa in a professional and volunteer capacity over more than 20 years.
His most recent trip, to Namibia in October last year, was organised by Dr Andrew Ottoway, a senior lecturer in Tasmania who has an ongoing program to improve the quality of obstetrics in northern Namibia. Health professionals from six Australian states attended.
