THE St Margaret’s Anglican Church will tonight be filled with sounds first heard in the 17th and 18th century.
Davide Monti will open Arts Mildura’s Summer Music Festival by performing works from an era when composers’ sketches often demanded and expected the brilliant, devilish improvisation skills of a master violinist.
“I hope to give the audience a taste of Baroque music,” he said. “I want them to have the same feeling as those that heard it in the 17th and 18th century.”
