Powerball players who hoped to cash in on Thursday night’s $80 million jackpot will have to try again next week.

After a lengthy delay due to the massive number of ticket sales, there was no Division One winner, causing next Thursday’s prize to jackpot to a staggering $100 million.

Klemms Newsagency manager Kerrie Stewart said sales for Thursday’s draw were “out the door”, and is hopeful the newer, bigger prize will see even more tickets sold next week.
